The Porsche 906 Carrera 6 is known for being the last legal race car built by Porsche. It is also known for its victory in Japan in 1967, which is the car shown in our illustration. That year, the Porsche 906 won first place at Fuji Speedway in the fourth Japanese Grand Prix. It was one of Japan's most iconic drivers, Tetsu Ikuzawa, who crossed the finish line. This race made him a star in Japan, both on and off the track.
