The MXS 5.0 is an advanced microprocessor-controlled battery charger with built-in automatic temperature compensation that delivers unmatched performance on lead-acid batteries from 1.2Ah to 110Ah. The MXS 5.0 solves a wide range of battery problems and is the ideal charger for the demanding user. MXS 5.0 features include battery condition diagnostics to determine if the battery can receive and hold a charge, a patented automatic desulfation step and a special reconditioning step that will resuscitate and restore deeply discharged and stratified batteries. The AGM option is perfect for maximizing the performance and life of most stop-and-go batteries. Built-in temperature compensation ensures ideal charging performance even under the most extreme conditions. Patented floating/pulse maintenance makes the MXS 5.0 ideal for long-term maintenance. The entire battery testing, charging and maintenance process is easily followed on the clear LED display.

The MXS 5.0 is a fully automatic "plug and forget" 12V charger with 8 charging steps, it offers the selectable SMALL BATTERY and NORMAL BATTERY programs. The RECOND and AGM options work independently or together in the SMALL BATTERY and NORMAL BATTERY programs to offer the user great versatility. Wide charging range on all types of lead-acid batteries from 1.2 Ah to 110 Ah with additional service capability to 160 Ah. Splash and dust protected (IP65).
