The Maserati A6GCS Berlinetta is a work of automotive art. But, ironically, it was born out of a racing frustration. When torrential rains wreaked havoc at the 1952 Mille Miglia, making the handling of previous A6 models difficult, race car drivers pushed Maserati to make improvements. One solution was to fit a Maserati 2000 Sport with a Pinin Farina "Berlinetta" closed body. The resulting masterpiece was first shown at the 1954 Turin Motor Show.
With only four Pinin Farina models created, the Berlinetta A6GCS holds a special place in automotive history. Automobilist is proud to honor the car's legacy with this officially licensed limited edition poster.
